[…] During various excavations in Nicosia, archaeological objects were found that belong to the period between 3500B.C. – 335 A.D.. One thing can be stated for sure, and that is the fact that the town of Nicosia, has been inhabited continuously since 3500 B.C.. We also know, that during the Iron Age, a kingdom existed here, under the name of Ledra, and that its king was Onasagoras. During the Hellenistic period the town was also named Leukothea or the town of Leukos, in honour of Leukos, son of king Ptolemy. The objects that children will paint in this drawing book were found in Nicosia. A collectible drawing book by Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia.
