**Scrambler** is the first collection of haikus to be published in Cypriot by revolutionary haiku artist/celebrity motorcyclist Fortino Samano. Mysteries still surround the reclusive poet who was rediscovered in 2007 living on the streets of Kyoto trading poems for sake. Poet Marilena Zackheos (Carmine Lullabies) will offer a brief introduction to Samano’s contribution to Cypriot letters, while pulp fiction writer Max Sheridan will discuss the rise and fall of the elusive poet provocateur who is better known to yakuza henchmen than to European literary society.
**Scrambler** was printed in a numbered, limited edition by OWK Press. It is OWK Press’s first release. Scrambler was designed by Omiros Panayides and set in GFS Didot Enalea, a Cypriot typeface designed by Aspasia Papadima using GFS Didot as its base.
