The photographs are presented in a sequence which follows the path of numerous journeys all over Cyprus and are accompanied by brief factual captions identifying the subjects and their position on the island. The text consists of notes from Reno’s personal diaries, as well as excerpts from the writings of authors and travellers who visited Cyprus and recorded their comments, from antiquity to the recent past.
