Description
The present book is an update and an upgrade of the book Guide on the Nature of Cyprus, which was published in 2009. Its goal is to accompany travellers in their exploration of Cyprus’ natural and cultural attractions. Cyprus nature remains the focus of this second book, with extensive information in the form of photographs, maps and text on about 250 natural attractions (beaches, walking routes, wetlands, ancient trees and other attractions such as sea caves, waterfalls and parks) all over Cyprus. In addition to natural attractions, the book now covers also about 180 cultural attractions found all over Cyprus (primarily with information in the form of photographs and maps). Many of these attractions are hardly known to the general public and are found close to natural attractions (medieval bridges, watermills, aqueducts, castles and watchtowers, chapels and monasteries).
