ΚΥΡΗΝΕΙΑ
Το σούρουπο οι βράχοι λένε αινίγματα
και τη νύχτα ονειρεύονται το σύμπαν.
Τα πρωϊνά ακούς τους αναβατήρες
στα κοτσάνια των λουλουδιών που
ανεβοκατεβάζουν τα χρώματα της άνοιξης
και γιομίζουν τα περβάζια των ματιών μας
φρεσκοβαμένα ανθοπέταλα και αρμυρό ήλιο.
Σε όποια εποχή και αν πας στην Κυρήνεια
η άνοιξη σε διαλέγει
και πάντα οι αγαπημένοι έχουν κάτι να πουν.
KYRENIA
At dusk, the rocks tell riddles
and at night dream of the universe.
In the morning you hear the hosts
on the stems of the flowers
which lift and bring down the colours of spring
and fill the ledges of our eyes
with freshly painted petals and salty sun.
Whatever season you go to Kyrenia
spring will choose you
and the lovers will always have something to say.
KERYNIA
Au crépuscule,
les roches se disent des énigmes
et la nuit, ils rêvent l’ univers.
Au petit matin, on entend les cavaliers
sur les tiges des fleurs
qui font valier les couleurs du printemps
et comblent les volets de nos yeux
de pétales de fleurs et de soleil salé.
Quelle que soit la saison
où l’ on visite Kerynia
le printemps ne choisit guère
et les bien-aimés ont toujours
à dire leur mot.
