The publication includes an introduction that describes in brief the natural environment of Cyprus and provides information on the position of butterflies in the animal kingdom, as well as on their life cycle and behaviour. Part one presents all butterfly species of Cyprus. Part two presents all Cypriot species with life-size photographs featuring both surfaces of the wings of males and females alike.
